SORC plan asks for more time, restructuring

State Sen. Susan Paddack presented Ada business leaders with awards for their efforts in improving Ada’s business climate and employing its many residents.

Fred Morgan, president and CEO of The State Chamber of Oklahoma,  said he’s been impressed by Ada’s recent improvements.  He said Ada’s state legislators, State Senator Susan Paddack and Representative Todd Thomsen, have done a great job at the capitol.

Each one of the honorees accomplishments were read off by Rear Adm. Wesley Hull (Ret.) prior to their induction and during the ceremony, were given citations from Sen. Tom Coburn R-Muskogee and the Oklahoma Legislature via Sen. Frank Simpson R-Ardmore, who served as master of ceremonies. Sen. Susan Paddack D-Ada, also presented a citation.

Among Democrats, the most effective lawmakers were Sen. Susan Paddack, D-Ada, who saw success for seven of her bills and one joint resolution, and Sen. Sean Burrage, D-Claremore, who had a .545 batting average - the highest of any senator, Republican or Democrat.
